Combination of the Phillies being on a torrid pace and the Braves being severely inconsistent. The last thing our pitching staff needed was to be forced to pitch a double header and ever since that DH vs San Diego on 5/20 the Braves are 5-7. Chris Sale just gave up more runs to the A’s yesterday than he did for the last month and half combined.

2 things I’m certain of right now, the Braves are struggling and the Guardians are legit.
VP is always on top of his game when it comes to the Bravos.

Go ahead and mark that 2 game set as a split and wouldn’t be shocked to see us lose or split the next several series until maybe Pittsburgh. Then we get 7 games with the Nationals and A’s in Atlanta to hopefully get back on track.

28-22 overall record whenever the Nationals come to town. We will probably be at least 6 games back of the Phillies at this time. Wouldn’t be shocked to be 8 games back.

Well we were 2 games better overall than I expected heading into the Nationals series. Went into that series at 30-20. But we inexplicably lost 3 out of 4 to the Nats and currently have a rubber match vs the lowly A’s…
