They need to stop injected race or gender into everything. This is sports, a place for people to come together. To be frank, the WNBA wasn’t popular because there really wasn’t anything exciting going on, and the attendance numbers back that up. Caitlin Clark plays a brand of basketball that puts butts in the seats. Whenever you see a bunch of white kids wearing a Steph Curry jersey, do we question that? No, he is one of the most popular players of this generation. He takes and makes shots that people can only dream of. Caitlin Clark shoots like Steph so of course people are going to gravitate to her. Doesn’t matter what the color of her skin is. People want to see something transcendent and that is exactly what Clark is. If you want your sport to grow you have to be exciting. How popular would college baseball be without the 2022 BaseVols? It would still be growing but not like it is right now. Heck, there were kids in little league doing the “Drew Gilbert” celebration after a double. And just so everyone is aware, our home run leader for 2 of the past 3 seasons are darker skin color. Do you you think we care? Nope! Do something to stand out and people will watch.

I’m hoping the Cubs just finish with long struggle first half instead of collapse in the final month like last season which is mainly why they missed the Playoffs with the Miami Marlins benefiting from it to make the playoffs.
It’s a high bar for the Braves to remain smooth sailing with injuries being a glaring flaw.

Well I see I’ll need to get my debit card replaced at West Gate Bank because I can’t find it.

I need to mow the lawn before working tonight at Texas Roadhouse in the ShadowLake area.

At one point during a game, the coach called one of his 9-year-old baseball players aside.
And asked, "Do you understand what cooperation is? What a team is?
"Yes, coach", replied the little boy. "
Do you understand that what matters is whether we win or lose together as a team?"
The little boy nodded in the affirmative.
"So," the coach continued, "I'm sure you know, when an out is called, you shouldn't argue,
curse the umpire, or call him an ass***. Do you understand all that?"
Again, the little boy nodded in the affirmative.
The coach continued, "And when I take you out of the game so that another boy gets a chance to play,
it's not a dumb-a** decision or that the coach is a ******** is it?"
"No, coach."
"Good", said the coach. "Now go over there and explain all that to your grandmother.”
