Scoring seems like it is down dramatically across the board this season. A lot of it has to do with so many transfers and the clock rules imo. Games are shorter in length now and a lot of transfers aren’t as instant impact as everyone thought.

Pretty much any “expert” out there will tell you the SOS combined with the fact they do not play a conference championship game automatically pushes them down the pecking order. Not to mention that NIU loss will be the worst loss of any CFP participant by a country mile. If their loss were to A&M it would be a different conversation but that loss to NIU was worth 1.5 losses in the eyes of the committee.
