Well yeah, I think I read more people in Japan watched the World Series than people in the U.S. watched the NBA Finals. He has an entire country and state behind him. Not mention there are quite a bit of Dodger fans spread everywhere due to their New York roots so it’s a match made in baseball heaven.

Just for reference, Arkansas and Baylor beat this Gardner-Webb program by similar margins last season early in the year and that team also finished 11-5 in the Big South. So that team isn’t as horrible as everyone thinks they should be. The spread on that game was way too high to begin with. Should have been close to somewhere in the 18-20 point favorite range.

I’ll take a blowout any way we can get them. The offense looked good outside of the turnovers. Defense needs a little tightening up but Barnes will get that corrected. Rebounding is going to be a point of emphasis all season imo. We’re going to have to have the wing players step up and help out because the front line is not deep. Anytime you can hold a team in the low to mid 60s and score 80 for yourself then that’s a good days work in today’s world of college basketball. At least we didn’t start off our season losing to Evansville like Kentucky did a few years ago.

Leave it to Pat Mahomes to unlock the D Hopkins of old. Titans QB situation sucks. Could’ve had D Hop, AJ Brown, Calvin Ridley, and Derrick Henry all on the same team for the foreseeable future but we don’t know how to draft QBs so let’s get rid of all the playmakers for chump change and help everyone else out in the league 🤦‍♂️
