We have this thing in W. TN called heat. We turn it up when cold sets in.

haha I'm a big fan of turning the heat up.
I/we had the fire place going all weekend too.
I like the light it makes in a dark room or room that only has Christmas lights on and a fire in the fire place.

This ranks up there with Michael Jordan famous dunk picture where he's leaning forward and has his legs pulled up to get extra elevation.

I like this picture better than other Josh Moments because he's not helicoptering after get hit mid air. This pic is just smart football being done by a very good athlete. I like how he slid too.

Aaron Rodgers is in danger of being benched according to reports. He hasn’t had a 300 yard game since December of 2021 and he continues to throw his teammates under the bus. He won’t be in NY next year and I don’t know of any teams that will sign him at this point.

I know that we in W. TN (Jackson area) have been begging these good folks
to set up shop here for years. We have all sorts of name brand places in Jackson
bc of the I-40 interstate that brings travelers in to eat & shop here. But, the Golden
Corral management group for some reason passes on our great hospitality here.

I lived it. It was a disaster and the worst driving conditions I’ve ever seen (I grew up in the mountains and have traveled all over the country, and this was worse than 3 feet blizzards).

Despite a Winter Storm Warning, metro Atlanta had virtually no school closings. It was totally mismanaged by the local govt and school systems. With virtually no notice and at Noon on the day of the storm, all schools closed as well as many businesses releasing hundreds of thousands of cars on the roadways. The limited snow plows and salt trucks couldn’t do their jobs in the gridlock that resulted.
In north Atl, we got around 5 inches of snow and then severe cold which froze the first layer so it was ice on roads packed with snow on top. I‘ve never seen so any stranded vehicles in my life both on interstates, primary, and secondary roads.

I’d take those old Cafeterias over these all you can eat buffets. Morrison’s for example.

I have friends living in Missouri & I used to visit often there. A Golden Corral is close by their house & we would go & eat there quiet often. One night they had all the sirloin steak available you could eat for a set price. Some of the best steak I've had anywhere around. And then, if you were still hungry from that, they had every klnd of dessert one could dream about having ... all at one set price. I was very impressed w/Golden Corral ever since that time. There's plenty of folks living here that have had the same kind of experience w/eating at their restaurants. I've never heard of "Duff's" that you speak of .... no offense. I'm sure Duff's is a great place to have a good meal & to be w/family and friends.

Also at Golden Corral, at times, they'll have all the pancakes eggs bacon sausage you can eat when football season is going on too. All for one low price. I know when I go there to eat you've had a starving empty stomach all morning going in to fill up.
