Read any contract carefully, and get the assistance of others if you need it. I’ve read proposed NIL contracts and I think (from the student athlete’s perspective) they can be improved.

@Volprofch05 I think it’s safe to say coaching cost you a chance to win that game. You have a rookie QB on the road with a running clock after a 1st down and 34 seconds left but choose not to call a timeout whenever you have 2 of them. Instead, the next play ends with an incomplete pass and 17 valuable seconds run off the clock. So you are stuck attempting a 56 yard field goal with a kicker that’s only been there 2 weeks with a career long of 53 yards, whenever you could have gotten an attempt inside of 50 yards. Morris did not put his rookie into a position to succeed on that last drive and that loss is 100% on him.

Meanwhile, the guy on the other sideline that got your organization to a Super Bowl has his team solidly in the playoffs and will have an advantageous path to advancing to the divisional round with a win next week.

Highly doubtful. 49ers have lost 5 of 6 games with their only win against the Bears and have only averaged 12ppg in those 5 losses. As much as everyone wants to talk about the Lions injury situation, the 49ers is worse. Also, this is a revenge game for the Lions from the NFC Championship game and they are out for blood. Lions will put at least 30 on them, if not more. It could get ugly for San Francisco.

Lions may have offense but their defense is atrocious due to injuries. That's why no Super Bowl Trophy this year for Lions..



Right now I would put money on either Bills or the Chiefs to 3 peat..

You may be right on the Lions winning the Super Bowl. Unfortunately for the Lions, the NFC is very tough, their own division particularly. They might not even win the division with 14 games while we have teams like the Texans and Bucs sitting at 9-7 winning/leading their division. Even the Packers could finish 12-5 and finish third in the division. I have the Bills, Chiefs, and Ravens as the favorites right now. Allen, Mahomes, and the Lamar/Henry duo are not something I would want to face in the playoffs.

There are no contracts/salary cap/luxury tax in college sports. Apples to oranges, as this is the Wild West we are living right now. Vols have yet to prove they will spend for top talent other than Nico. And that deal seems like pocket change now. If we were signing him now the price would probably be double what we paid for him.

The opportunity to ruin that ass hats season, in front of his own fans, is the only thing keeping this season from being an absolute dumpster fire!
