The thing that's ironic (funny) about that statement is I'm close to being a millionaire.
I like to live in my humble means of doing things. Not to call attention to myself.

The Millionaire Next Door is one of my favorite books. Living below one’s means and “acting your wage“ are cornerstones of the Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. Good stuff!

Supposedly we had a millionaire living in Jackson that, to go places, he would use simple means to do so. I used to see him ride his bicycle in town all the time. He never dressed the part. Looked like a complete bum living down at the bus depot.
