I would say this season’s team. Set the program all-time wins record, home run record, ended the season with single digit losses. Multiple All-SEC and All-Americans. First SEC title since 1995. We also managed to make everyone in the country hate us while making college baseball the most popular it’s been in recent memory. The list goes on. It will be hard to ever duplicate the season we just watched imo.

:) I wanted to say the same as you but didn't feel like typing it all out like you did.

After my snarky reply to @mad4vols, I did notice today that the farmers and mechanics eliminated the leprechauns. Good riddance to bad rubbish, I say. Good day.

PS. Now if only the Tigers/War Eagles/Plainsmen can eat a little piggy my day will be ok. Those pig people with their stupid pig hats and ridiculous pig calls. Now that's an embarrassment to the game.

It breaks my heart to see these teams still playing in the CWS
knowing we are a much better team, especially when you consider
that this series is such an endurance contest depending on pitching
depth and that was supposed to be one of our strengths.
Did “ Karma “ bite us in the ass ? We were VERY cocky.
I have not seen anything like our histrionics displayed in this series.

Here is a question especially for people saying that by not making it to the Omaha that the season was considered a disappointment.

Which team had more success?
2021 making it to Omaha or 2022 winning the SEC and SEC Tournament but failing to make it to Omaha?
That’s tough.
I think the SEC championships are huge but making Omaha last year was a lot of fun too. I think the fact that we all know this was the best team in baseball, makes it harder to swallow?
I consider the last 2 seasons equally successful because both have been steps in the right direction, toward building an elite program!
That may be a boring answer but I think the long term success of the program is bigger than any one season.
GBO!!
