The Dugout - General Topics, Chat, Random Photos and Memes.......No Politics

I'm a National League guy so not familiar with him. But, he appears to be well known for having a wide strike zone some nights. Honestly....I doubt that Doug cared whether the Blue Jays or White Sox won the game. He had a bad game. Sometimes, Dansby Swanson makes two errors and strikes out four times.

Cowboy Joe West was a famous one from my days of paying closer attention. He was just going to make some wrong decisions.

Again, it is a union thing. I'm ok with it.

Tennis has a robo-line judge thing. It is ok...you get a certain number of challenges. But, it shows things down.

I’m not saying Doug cared about who won and lost. I’m just saying he’s bad at his job. 2 out of the last 5 games he has umpired, he has missed at least 20 calls. The guy shouldn’t be behind the plate.

And I’m a Braves fan so Blue Jays-White Sox is the last thing I am worried about. I couldn’t care less who wins. I just want the games called correctly.

Duvall w/a single that knocks in the winning run.
Hopefully this will be the thing to propel his bat. He’s barely over the Mendoza Line. Also, I know we haven’t been impressed with Olson but he already has 28 doubles this season. On pace to get 65 this season. The closest anyone has gotten to 60 in a season since 1936 is our very own Todd Helton in 2000 whenever he finished with 59.
