It still just doesn’t feel right that he’s no longer a Brave. Both sides were at fault and I think if you asked them privately they would tell you the same thing. It was painful for me to watch last night. I debated not even watching because I care about Freddie so much. I’m not going to lie, I started getting emotional whenever he was doing his press conference. He meant so much to this Braves fan because he was one of our own his entire adult life. He was my favorite player after Chipper retired. He was the bridge into the new era of Braves baseball. I will always root for Freddie to do well and wish him no ill will, but I will always be disappointed he wasn’t a lifelong Brave.

I don’t know what to think, honestly?? I’ve watched this Ole Miss team be pretty terrible, all season long and then boom, they’re playing for a CWS!
I’ve seen Oklahoma a couple of times, but that was earlier in the season.
I have to assume that Ole Miss is the deeper team, just based on SEC recruiting?

I’m going with Oklahoma because their path to the CWS was much more difficult. I fully expected Florida to win that regional and Florida or Virginia Tech to be in the CWS. I know Ole Miss was the last at-large in the tournament, but Oklahoma has been the most shocking run imo.

I had a neighbor once that lived across the street from us for years. They had one of these little ankle bitters-bugged eyed dogs that would bark at me for 25 years each day I went to get our newspaper laying in the driveway. I told him one day your dog still doesn't know I'm your friendly neighbor & thinks I'm a burglar. These dogs are the kind that when you reach down to pet'em you'll be bringing back a nub of an arm.
