I gave it up after 60 years of watching. I miss Jerry Lawler & the old group.

We sit down, I'm facing the building with the other two tables behind me, my mom is facing the other two tables.

I have to pee and when I come back, Tom Holland is at the next table facing my mom and Tom is with some guy.

I give Tom one of those upwards head movements acknowledging his presence. He gives me the same and a little wave.

I sit down and ask my mom if she knows who that is and I knew she wouldn't.

I tell her and she's completely not impressed even after I tell her and I think, well, I guess that makes sense, she's def not a fan of any action hero anything.

I purposely ignore Tom too. This whole patio thing is FOR PRIVACY, so I want him to have that.

We ask for the check and the waiter tells us that our check and tip will be taken care of by the table behind me.

My mom and I were prepared to just quietly pay and leave, but now? Now I feel compelled to thank him because he just paid for our lunch, tip, covid table fee. It would be rude to walk away imo. I just want to give him a brief thank you and be overly interruptive.

When I approach his table, Tom is about to get up and give him a hand gesture to stay seated and tell him, "No need to get up. I just wanted to say thank you. I know who you are and you're here for privacy, not fan interaction, sooo thank you very much for lunch".

Tom ignores my hand gesture and says with his English accent, you're welcome and gets up and says to the other guy, "my God, look at this guy, he's HUGE!" Then Tom asks what I'm doing out in about in the middle of COVID? I tell him and he's teasing me as he looks at his agent or whoever and with sarcasm says. "Well that makes sense, because you know (pause for effect) they're perfect, look at his smile and his dimples!"

Tom turns to me and asks, "Seriously, what is with the kids in Georgia, everywhere I go, the boys and men are very tall and the girls and women are ... incredibly good looking."

I tell him I honestly don't know, but I've noticed the same thing and quickly tell him how tall my friends are compared to their fathers.

Tom asks with what is now his massive accent and upward lilting tone, "Do you want to take selfie?" [he didn't say A selfie, he said exactly what I wrote]

I tell him not really, I'm not a selfie kinda guy.

Tom, "Not for you, I want to take one to send to my mum to show her how massive you Americans are!"

He puts his arm around my waist and I put my hand around his back and up on his shoulder and he asks me to stand tall, so I stand up straighter, top stands up very straight and takes the pic and sends it to him mom.

Tom then says hello to my mom and asks her how she's doing and asks what salad did she have. She tells him and she suggests the coffee she had.

Tom's agent offers my mom his chair and my mom declines, but asks him how they found this place because most people don't know about it.

Tom turns to me and points to them, "Grown ups talking" He then asks what I do to stay in shape because he could tell I don't have much body fat, but it seems like I am "well muscled".

I start listing all the sports and activities I do and he points out, so you're not in the gym lifting weights much? And I tell him no and that I'd rather just be active, but I AM very active. He didn't know what lacrosse was, so I described that.

I'm going to post this even though there are a few little things I left out about sports and what I eat and what he eats - more like doesn't eat, I'll mention in the next post.

That’s awesome man! I love hearing about random run ins with celebrities. He seems like a genuine dude. Hard to come across that with a lot of celebrities.

I met Jerry Lawler & talked w/him once. He loves himself too much.
After we got through w/our conversation he said I know ur glad to
have met me. Too bad he didn't have Stacy around w/him that day.

They still show Memphis Wrestling late every Saturday night now.
It's so bad w/these guys wrestling they should just burn it all down.

That is such a cool story @Drewbydoo! He sounds like a nice guy. We actually have a movie on right now that he was in called, Chaos Walking. It’s a pretty bizarre sci fi, imo, its pretty bad too lol.

Just got done with the doctor. Right when I was getting ready to leave, they arrived. IDK it, but Jason signed us up for concierge doctor visits because of my stall tactics. Wellcare visits can last up 3 hours if the patient wants it to.

Let THAT sink in.

It's kind of like old school medicine where the doctor comes to your house. In this case it was 2 physicians assistants (PA) and the idea is to kind of kick back and give the patients enough time to talk and ask all the questions they want. In between any well care visits we can email or leave voice mail about anything.

I didn't know a service like that even existed, but that's pretty cool.

In my case, they wanted to make sure I wasn't having some kind of cardiac event and connected me to a portable EKG, which, as expected I was fine. They took vials of blood and other than that it was like a normal doctor visit at first, but they really meant to sit back and think of ANYTHING that was even remotely a concern OR just a general question for our own general knowledge and they didn't even need to be about us. If they didn't know the answer immediately, they'll get back to us within 24 hours.

Both PAs were women, one looked about 28, the other about 30-32, so that was different.

My general questions:

2 drinks daily or binge drinking once a week, which is better? Binge drinking!
Marijuana or alcohol? Answer in Georgia has to be alcohol because marijuana is illegal. However, out side of GA? Marijuana!

[I asked the the above questions to see how they'd react. Pretty legit right? Pretty cool IMO.]

Is fasting one to two days a week good for me, neutral or bad? Answer: very good for me.
5.5 hours/night sleeping enough for me? ANS: Barely.
3.5 hours of sleep for a few days followed up by a few nights of 6-7 hours? ANS: It's okay, but barely. You like to test the limits don't you she asked. Me: Yup.
Weekend binge drinking or two drinks daily? ANS Binge drinking and then she explains that's because on the many days we don't drink, it give our liver and kidneys time to recover.

Maxing out my heart rate, right to it's limit defined by 220 beats per min, minus my age, 20, so 200 beats per minute: ANS: It's fine, but why go to that limit?

Me, because limit testing is what I do with most things.

Why do our fingernails grow much faster in the Summer compared to the rest of the year: ANS: IDK, it's probably related to vitamin D, but we'll get back to you.

I like to yank out nose hair instead of trim it, is that okay? ANS: It's okay, but how you can stand the pain is impressive.

Sunscreen doesn't prevent cancer, it only prevents burns correct: ANS: Correct, plus some sunscreens cause cancer.

Antidepressants are a short term solution and not a "for the rest of your life" thing, right? ANS: It depends on the patient, but a patient should blah, blahh blah. ie she rambled about it for quite a while because going off antidepressants isn't a trivial thing.

My blood work came back as nearly flawless, but I could up my intake of magnesium.

She was going to prescribe me Xanax to take as needed, but I asked her if I could just take a quarter or half mg of what Jason has around. ANS: Take Jasons, because you aren't pill seeking and most patients are. We'll note that you're taking his as needed, but if you need more than one per month, let us know so we can monitor it because it's so addictive.

Me: Exactly, I don't wanna take that crap because it IS so addictive.

We eat two thirds vegetables, one third meat, but sometimes we end up half and half is that okay? Ans: it's optimal, if what you're telling us is true.

I show her what's in our refrigerator and she says, "Wow, you definitely take vegetables seriously, same for fruit."
Me: I point to our 3 vegetable sinks, "we're as serious as a heart attack about our diet, 3 sinks for parallel processing!"

I invite her and the other PA to stay for dinner and she'd see how serious we are. Ans: she declines.

My parents arrive, so I figure that's about enough of Q&A.

I introduce my PA (older one) to my mom and dad, but my parents don't cut it short because of them.

The PAs talk briefly to Tom the contractor and his wife before they (PAs) leave and then they go.

eta: change 3 to 3 hours for concierge appointments.

I can or will add more context tomorrow, because I think you'd enjoy that too. In the interim you could look up, if you want to what high school he was at, I think if you used wiki or google you'll find that the high school was or is called something like Grayson and that it's since changed its name. I remember the school had changed it's policy of allowing movies to be shot there, but they allowed Spiderman back in because the first Spiderman movie was shot there and they didn't have much more to film in 2nd (?) movie and that was just for continuity purposes.

I told my mom that Tom Holland is a very big deal and it'd be like her talking with Tom Cruise. THAT got my mom's attention.

My dad was all over it when I told him and THEN my mom WAS excited she met Holland. haha.

Months later when she'd tell her lady friends, I could see the joy in her face from the experience and she LOVES dragging me over to fill in the blanks. Now it's all about how The Tom Holland bought her lunch and that we chatted etc etc. I always tease her loudly, "Yeah right on that we because YOU didn't even know who he was."

I looked up his height for you, he's 5′ 6½″

My mom is 5' 7 ish. Ish because when she has any kind of heel on, she's obviously taller.

That promised more context now and if I remember more later, I'll post it: Tom is giddy and very chatty. Super friendly and more handsy than I initially wrote and by that I mean he had his arms around my waist for a few seconds (2) after selfie and pulled me closer to him before pushing me back on my abs and kind of squeezing to see how firm my mid section was. He did a final poke which made me LOL. I think he liked that I laughed or was so ticklish.

I think if his agent or whomever it was, weren't there, he would have gladly have us sit down for dessert or something. That handler person had to point to his watch a few times to get through to Tom, that he had more work to do and to exit the conversation.

Tom told me that his life is kind of annoying because he just gets yanked around based on an ever changing schedule and that an hour from now he may be sitting alone on some set waiting to shoot a scene from a different angle or that they'd start to shoot, but the people that do all the work for a shoot were due for a scheduled break and he may be sitting around for a half an hour in his Spidey suit.

My mom said that's when she saw the agent roll his eyes at Tom.

That's if I think of more. What I wrote above was what I could think of now, but now that my roommates read what I wrote, it's may shake loose a few other things.

Let's pretend it's tomorrow right now because I just thought of this because my gf asked if I remember how he smelled or if he had cologne on.
Answer: No odor, no cologne and I know I'd notice because that's something I'd notice if I was hip to hip for a selfie with anyone.

If YOU @knoxvol52 think of something, I'm all for it.

Oh, he was wearing Vans sneakers, light brown and white. No sunglasses, jeans and a hoodie that was a forest green.
