The dynasty is over?

I've never seen Alabama pushed around so much at home. There's been so many calls of Alabama's/Saban's dynasty being finished over the past 5-6 years, but this feels different.
The handshake with Sark looked like he was ready to get out of there. I think he knows it’s coming to an end.

They’re still slumping off 6 nattys in a bit over a decade and this is the first home loss since LSU beat them when they won the natty. If that’s the death knell of a dynasty hand me a shovel and pick so I can dig a grave for our program to step in.

Seems different. I didn't watch the whole game, but Saban doesn't seem to have the passion of years past. Seems like a man thinking about his new Florida mansion and less concerned about accolades to me. I'm sure he will pull one last snakey move though and do something like tell all his recruits that he is coaching 4 more years and then quit right after signing day.

Bama fans agree that Nick’s run could be over.

Honestly, as a college football fan, I don't want to see Saban fall apart and have losing seasons. I don't want him to win another NC, but I want him to go out with some accomplishment. Love him or hate him, you have to admit, he is one of (if not the) best to ever do it in college.

Texas was a bad matchup for Bama this early in the season. Texas has a better QB, better skill guys and a coach w/ a great offensive mind. Two years ago Bama has all of those things.

Texas has an outstanding team. Alabama is still very good. I think they still win the west.

Will that even be an accomplishment? Who do they have out there? Arkansas is barely beating G5 teams. Auburn is rebuilding. LSU looked like **** against FSU. I don't even need to describe Texas A&M.

Ole Miss might be his only threat and Lane Kiffin can't win big games (or Ole Miss in general as a program).

What is sad, is that this could have been Mike Leach's year to shock the world had he not passed away... RIP Leach. He was a joy in press conferences.

pump the brakes...its been 2 games. they have 3 other QB's and one of those RB's is gonna have a light come on. I think they are down but its not over till its over. Lets give it a few weeks. I HATE bama and bammers as much or more than most. But I respect what they are. They are who they are till they aren't. Just like Florida took a bit to actually fully fall off so will they. Thats right Florida is who has fell off.

I'll believe the dynasty is over -- really believe it -- when Tennessee goes down to Tuscaloosa and hammers a big orange steel stake through their evil heart which pumps not blood like yours and mine, but rather a thick, vomitous oil that oozes through their rotten veins and clots in their peanut-sized brains which becomes the cause of their Nazi-esque patterns of stupidity.

Why? I would love watching Alabama having multiple losing seasons for years to come.

Bama does not have the high level talent across the board that they have enjoyed during the Saban years, the transfer portal and the NIL exchanges have prevented Saban from spooling up all the talent and offering those players the exposure to end up in the NFL via a significant draft position, however, Saban is not by himself struggling with these changes, Dabo's program is fully adrift for the same reasons.

Alabama is still a very good team and still very well coached, but their players make mistakes that 5 years ago their team simply did not ordinarily make,

I would love to see him fall apart and leave bama in disgrace.
