the end of the Alabama domination era is here

Unfortunately Bama will still be one of the favorites to win the SEC and make the playoffs just about yearly.

They have the top class year after year.
They win 11-12+ games a year.
Even in coaching changes they seem to strike gold.

So I don't see the connection.

I never actually said I was billy so I'm probably not. We were an onsides kick & TD away from beatin Bama at Brian Dennehy.

And it was a two score game until the last 15 seconds of the fourth quarter.

So, no, not really.

(Not to mention Prescott throwing 3 interceptions.)

I'm not saying Bama is suddenly going to be 7-5 or even 8-4 but I can see them losing 3 games or so in the next few seasons... which is not dominant, especially compared to how they have been in recent years. Like someone else said, I think they've peaked and are on the down slope.

Does it bother you that 3 losses is a major down year for Bama, while 3 losses represents one of MSU's all-time greatest seasons?

He had some kind of breakdown in that 70 point destruction against WVU. Started calling plays from his days at Bama and the Panthers.

He was also demoted from DC at Bama following the '07 season. He is a really good recruiter, but if I was an LSU fan, i'd be really nervous about him calling plays.

Kiffin staying. That may keep Bama stable for 2015. Smart will have to look in the mirror though. Nick won't put up with another 2014.

OT with a mediocre LSU team, almost beat by Arkansas, squeezed by State @ home... That's how they appear more beatable.

You left off the Oklahoma Sugar Bowl romp from last year.

These are signs just like November 1980 when Bama was shocked by Mississippi State and lost 6-0. That dent in the armor kept getting bigger and bigger. Everything is cyclical and runs its course. Just like the veer and wishbone offense.

Yeah just like that romp to Utah in 2008 in the Sugar Bowl spelled doom.
