Pulling my hair out. Trying to figure out why they stopped growing. They germinated quickly, but now it's like they've been the same size for the past 12 days. I've narrowed it down to possibly over watering. Still not sure about the leaves being wrinkled/shriveled.@Behr peppers update
String + cat = joy!!Hard to see, but the cat unrolled 5 feet of garden twine in the one minute that my back was turned:

Do you still have them on heat?Pulling my hair out. Trying to figure out why they stopped growing. They germinated quickly, but now it's like they've been the same size for the past 12 days. I've narrowed it down to possibly over watering. Still not sure about the leaves being wrinkled/shriveled.
See how the leaves on the one on the top of the picture is wrinkled....and they're so small.

^^^^^this little dude and the one above it were the ones I "surgically" removed the seed shell. Top one ain't gonna make it, and the bottom one ain't looking good, he's wrinkled and not growing. Sigh.
Not really sure why I'm having such a problem.
That's the bad News.
Good news is Out of the 11 planted I have at least 1 good one of all 5 different types.
Yes, they're still on heat. Brought them out in the warm morning sun for a little over an hour to help dry the soil out some. Gave them a little fertilizer, recommend by Pepper Joe.Do you still have them on heat?
I’m clueless. (Yeah, yeah.) One thing I will say is that Hubs tries to start from seed certain... special... plants that are new types of hybrids. Sometimes they do well, other times they’re just duds. Maybe new cultivars still include plants that are just really tricky to grow, as opposed to ones you just grab from the rack at the garden store. View attachment 370923
I think mine were a little slow to get going, more so than the tomatoes. I planted seeds the same day back in March, and the tomatoes are 2’-3’ tall (after being repotted several times 6” deeper), and the peppers average less than half as high. So it’s probably the nature of the beast.Yes, they're still on heat. Brought them out in the warm morning sun for a little over an hour to help dry the soil out some. Oh well, we'll see. It's only been 20 days since I put the seeds in the dirt so I'm not really panicking. Yet. Just concerned.
That color is incredible! This was in a pot and didn't do well and I transplanted. This year has had the most blooms it has ever had.
