Since it's a main mexican spice I always thought hot weather too and it always lasted about 2 weeks and kicked the bucket.

It might do well under the corn where it can be shaded ??

Most fun of having a garden is planting, watching and tending to it, and harvesting. I would think if you had one of those things, it’s best to go buy your vegetables at a grocery store.

Took your advice on the basil. Also potted some chives, put down a bed of mint, and added a cherry tomato this weekend.

I've got some cilantro that has made it about three weeks and doing well, however I didn't grow it from seed. Its in a pot and partially shaded by some other herbs and a tomato. We've had pretty mild weather so far, but we're supposed to be in the 90's for the next few days. We'll see how that works.

Be careful of the mint, it will take over in a minute.

When I decided to start a garden/plants, I was worried about Clarksdog peeing on everything, which hasn't been a problem so far, I didn't think I'd have to worry about him eating stuff.
