The Endzone Garden Thread

I should have repotted them already but because of my new "job" I haven't taken the time. The roots are just now beginning to come out of the bottom of the cups so it's not a big deal. They're really healthy and the roots are strong, but it's been a struggle.
New “job”? Have I missed sumthin?

Nope. Few weeks ago I posted "I hate Bittersweet" and it was misunderstood so I dropped it. I took on more/different responsibilities and things change including my available time to post. I don't really hate Bittersweet, but sometimes it...well, is bitter. And sweet. Lulz.

I grew purples last year. They were productive summer through fall. This year, only red bells from seed - started indoors this past December and transplanted in April. None have reached red - the missus has me harvesting them green for immediate use. 🤪

Are the purples a hot or sweet pepper. Never seen.

It is august which means that it is time to pick peaches. Grabbed about 30 of them yesterday.

All very nice. It's cool the way your yard lays out to just plant things around in available spaces and have your garden part of your landscaping. Those set ups are great. I've got mega shade around the house, so I have regular landscaping, then a big rectangle garden out in the side yard. But, my shade also cuts the temp 10-20 degrees around the house, so I'm not complaining.

I also see a nice up and coming limelight. I've got a young one trying to grow up. I may have gave it too much shade. But, it's only in it's second year out of the nursery.
It's two years old. I LOVE it!!! I am going to put a few in the backyard. I have a moonlight on the other side of the porch in full shade, it did great for it's first year.

Maybe it's a moon dance, not moonlight. It's not a vine. (I looked it up to see if I was calling it the right thing. Don't think I was, lol.)

I need a rototiller. Open to either front Tine or Rear. Want reverse and don't want anything like those mantis POSs. Gas, no electric. Going to be breaking hard clay and tilling deep. I need some suggestions. Was looking at:

Lulz at scratching out the price.

FYI... nobody gives a crap and it took me about 5 seconds to find it.

I like it!

meh, bothered me to leave it in. Just a me thing. And thanks for looking at it. It's an American designed tiller. Not as wide as I wanted but gets great reviews.

I haven't used one since I was maybe 16. (10 years ago). So I know nothing about them anymore. Would love to use that one you're looking at. Looks like a good one.

I have been spoiled. We bought an International Harvester in 1966. It was still running and breaking ground last year. The thing is a beast. Unfortunately when I left Knoxville in 2013, I gifted it to my neighbor so need another one.

You're a better neighbor than Bill's, they just left him cereal.

My personal choice would be rear tine. I've owned both and the front tine damn near beat me to death.

Those rear tines are no picnic. I took my grandads Toro rear tine after he died. It had a Tecumsuh engine so mostly it was useless. Went to till me up a garden in previously unbroken GA summer soil. It was gear driven, wheels and tines, so when it hit that hard dirt, instead of digging in it took of like a drag car and almost pulled me down.

About the ‘66 IH: Don’t feel stupid. Feel generous.
Please expound on leaving Knoxville. You can reply in another thread if you wish.
