I think you are forgetting "this horrible defense" ranked 28th in NCAA in 2011. I think it was scheme change/previous D coaching staff that made the defense horrible

Avoid ESPN.

Think about the garbage they put out during the season. Why would anyone subject themselves to their crap during the offseason when they've got even more time to fabricate absolute bullsh*t? Their experts are usually awful and the bloggers are some of the worst writers I've ever been subjected to.

The simple solution is to use ESPN for nothing more than watching live events, and even that sucks.

Let's see, two years ago we had a good defense under Wilcox. True we lost some good players but we have the talent on this team to MORE THAN MAKEUP FOR the loses. Now let's see a little further, we happen to have a new coach and brand new staff who seems to be motivating the current TALENTED players on the team. Further, this coach seems to be doing an outstanding job of recruiting despite our performance over the past few years.

Bottom line, I don't share your negavol attitude. The glass is half full and RISING TO THE TOP! You need an attitude check with regards to volnation!

This isn't basketball. In football, that's how it would play out the overwhelming majority of the time. I don't know what all the uproar is over UT being second to last. They only won one conference game last year, lost all the playmakers on offense and return the worst defense in school history almost in its entirety. Winning 6 games would be overachieving in 2013 IMO.
