The Event....

Finally watched this week's episode. I'm feeling better it's going to be the first show I've watched first season to make it past 13 episodes. :)

I'm still not convinced the people at the end weren't mutated and are now the same as the aliens, but that is just me.

I also think Vicky's boyfriend from the first episode was also an alien, and that the only way to kill them is somehow to cut them in the stomach.

I have no idea. According to Jason Ritter(Sean) only a select few know, and he's not one of them.

My questions are: Why did the aliens crash land? Was Earth a retreat or a destination? Could they be time travelers?

Caught up last night. Although I am not as tied to the characters as I was in LOST, I'll keep watching. I agree that "The Event" hasn't happened yet.

Biological warfare? I call shenanigans.

Eh, I thinks its biological warfare times 50. I'm ready to see what the boyfriend/girlfriend have to do with this.

Ill call now that sean is an alien who doesn't know it.

I think we are still deeply in the dark as to anything that is going on. Plus what we think we know about what is going on is not what it seems.

My wife suggested that Sophia and Thomas are dueling it out with killing the passengers or not. Thomas kills them and she brings them back to life.

Based on the previews for next week and the subway (hence also why they haven't been able to get the people out of prison) I think something has to be moving at a certain speed for them to be able to warp it. I'll be interested to see if that is how next week plays out.

I hadn't considered that Sean might be an alien. I like your theory. Since they're after him so bad, he either knows something that could bring down the aliens, or he's a very powerful alien that doesn't know it.

The fact that he's estranged from his parents and probably doesn't know much about them, strengthens your theory. Solid work, tigervol!

A co-worker did point out, however, that he was in the hospital and that there were no signs of him not being human there. So, take that for what it's worth. I'm standing by it for the time being though.

(just watched this weeks episode) Sean is the son of Sophie IMO. I'm dying to know what heck is going on, they've done a good job of keeping the two story lines separate thus far... show is getting better and better.

If they had drawn blood for lab-work but the results hadn't come back yet, there was no reason for the hospital to be alarmed. I assumed the aliens' vital signs are similar to humans.

Not sure if the Asian-alien placed a vein in his arm for DNA purposes or not.

The "Sean is an alien" idea seems pretty solid to me. But I'm thinking half-alien. That could help (or totally) mask the blood work issues. I think this show is pretty good so far. Lots of curve balls. At times it seems a bit over-contrived, but I'm buying it so far.

The blood work and vitals would have taken a back seat when the nurse learned Sean was wanted for murder.... That would have distracted her and everyone else from the abnormal vitals IMO

Even looking back to week 1 you can see it was a set-up to get Sean. Even the entire Vicky was drowning issue was a set-up. I can go with the half-alien thing, although thinking back to the 2% DNA difference from episode 2 I don't know how they would make that work.

I'm also ready to find out what all Michael knows and what all happened in the time Sean ran off the ship to getting on the plane.

And I still think Vicky's "boyfriend" from week 1 was an alien too.

While we're at it - Taylor Cole, aka Vicky, is just friggin hot.
