I was going to post something similar, but that seems to sum it up nicely.

I will add that the back-story about Sterling was good.

Seems the kids are lab rats for whatever stuff makes Dempsey look old. Wonder if he's part of the dispersed aliens group or from another alien group?

I really like Sterling's character although I'm still not sure whose side he is on.

I really wish this would catch on more. Every show I start watching at the beginning tends to not do well, and I really like this one.

That satellite launch and subsequent signal and the talk of loss of life by Sophia's son was insightful... and may be a signal or sign of "the event". Alien visitation, invasion or rescue in a very public way?

I thought this week's episode was really good, what with Leila finding out her dad is apparently an alien, and Thomas launching the communication satellite.

I can't understand why this show is not being promoted more, from what I've read it's in need of a ratings boost to have a good chance of getting renewed for next season.

Sean and Leila found out her dad is an alien and couldn't find her sister.

Thomas fired off a satellite to connect with their home world.

Seems that the power money guy behind the scenes is an alien as well.

That pretty much gets us to Monday (I think).
