The Everything Fantasy Football Thread

As of now,

RB - Going Gurley and Forsett (got off waivers) over Latavius Murray

Flex- Allen Robinson over T.Y. Hilton and Latavius Murray

AP on bye and Luck being out has turned everything upside down. I did pick up Forsett and Alshon Jeffery on waivers this week (dropped Melvin Gordon and Eifert). People in my league are too quick to drop.

wtf

Forsett off waivers? 2014: 5th in rushing yards, highest per-carry average
Alshon off waivers? 2014: tied for 6th in targets

I dropped Freeman after Week 1 too. That decision haunts me.

I drafted him in both of my leagues, 13th round in my pay league, 16th round in my free league. I was able to get him back off the wire in my free league. I play against him in my pay league this week. Since my free league is PPR and has a 10pt plateau bonus for 100 rushing yards, I'm hoping he goes for exactly 100 yards and like 6 catches for 0. That'll egregiously get me 26 points, but in my pay league, only give my opponent 10 lol

Is your league like 6 people? None of the last 4 you mentioned (including the 2 you dropped) should really ever be FAs.

I think I agree with your start/sit decisions, though. Definitely RB. Not sure about Flex, but Robinson has the least uncertainty.

8. Both of these were 2 pond round draft. For whatever reason, lack of early productivity and injury I guess, two teams (friends) decided to jump on other bandwagons.

So I immediately picked them up.

In a league with 8 guys who usually know football too. I think Duke Johnson and Hurns were their chosen replacements.

Like I did with drafting Gurkey, I'll wait out injuries on good players (Jeffery) if they are improvement. In PPR Jeffery will eventually be money.

Jeffery's money should start rolling in this week

I need QB help again this week. No luck with luck.

I still have Bortles, but I think there might be better options this week, not many. My crappy but only options are:

Carr
A. Smith
Winston
Kaepernick
Bradford
Cousins
Foles
Josh McCown
Bridgewater
Weeden

I'm thinking Bradford?

NO is terrible against the pass, so I'd say Bradford is a decent choice. But Bortles isn't an awful play.

I was waiting close to Sunday to make sure he is playing and playing majority of the game. If so, we will replace Robinson at Flex

There are really only 2 weeks all season that Jeffery should be potentially sat and it was Week 2 v. Patrick Peterson and Week 3 v. Seahawks. He was out both of those games. If he plays, he should be a sure-fire start every week

Also they won't play him on a snap count, I don't think. If he's in the game, he's not going to be limited. They have no reason to risk their star WR in a lost season.

I think even Peterson is a little overrated, though not as much as last year. I'd be more worried about Denver.

Wow. Duke is good, but not 2nd round pick good.

I'm the same way. I'll take injured superstars over healthy fill-ins all day.

Not a superstar, but in deeper leagues, LaFell is someone to consider as well.

Yeah, I'd take Bradford.

I'm not sure about "overrated" but I was really just saying that I'd have considered sitting Jeffery. After consideration, I'd have probably still played him. His hamstring took that decision away from me.

I meant the two guys I picked up were both 2nd rounders, and the reason they were available is players chose to swap for FA Johnson and Hurns.

Bad for them, good for me. I enjoyed having Melvin Gordon and Eifert on the bench, but not when Jeffery and Forsett become available.

I know, I'm saying they're not good enough to warrant dropping your second rounder. Your team must be really good now though

Can't wait to be able to use my full team . Lol injuries and suspensions have slowed me down . Bell , gurly , and Jeffery have all missed multiple games and I'm 3-1

Down Jeffery and Foster and I, too, am 3-1. DeAngelo was hella serviceable in Foster's absence. James Jones, too.

Yea picked up deangelo Williams who was a beast , and harvin suprised me a lot . Cj?k did a decent job also for me

I rode the CJ train the week before he blew up and hopped off the train few days too early. Looking back over it, I dropped Devonta for DeAngelo. I also dropped Doug Baldwin for Markus Wheaton. A couple weeks later (when Tevin went down), I dropped Wheaton to get Devonta back. The same day I dropped CJ for freaking Shane Vereen. A few good moves, then that boneheaded oops lol

Yea I picked cj up was to scared to play him right away . I waited one week then played him infortunately I benched him when he had his 20+ week

Got 13 points from my kicker last night, and he only got 8.8 from Hilton.

But, he's also not even starting a defense this week (he has Miami on BYE and Dallas vs NE) so he may just be on autopilot and not caring at this stage as well, he's 1-3 so I somewhat understand it.
