Last week I picked up Julian Edelman in hopes he'd be healthy to play this week as my 3rd WR (I'd play him over Willie Snead and Jordan Matthews, even after this last week Matthews had probably) and this week I plan to pick up Tim Hightower to play over Chris Ivory against the Pats, since Ivory has done nothing the past three weeks.

Me and the girl on the other side (she's Defending champ btw) both have Cam Newton as our QBs and we may both end up with Hightower, so it's all about our role players.

I have

Forte and Hightower (hopefully) as my starting RBs

Julio Jones, Mike Evans, and either Edelman (if Healthy) or Matthews/Snead as my WR

Gary Barnidge as my TE (Zach Ertz as the other choice)

Cardinals as my D (or Giants)

Vinatieri or Sturgis as my Kicker seems to be the hard choice honestly.

Her team consists of:

Cam or Derek Carr at QB

Peterson, Hightower, Stewart, (O) or Denard Robinson at RB

Michael Crabtree, T.Y. Hilton, Sammy Watkins, Tavon Austin, and Nate Washington as WRs

Benjamin Watson or Kelce as TEs

Eagles or Lions as D

Blair Walsh or Vinatieri as kickers.

We can literally neutralize ourselves at 3 positions, and honestly I like my chances if its my 1 RB and WRs/TEs vs hers. But naturally I have to ask myself if Ivory will outdo Hightower. Or even if Carson Palmer could outdo Cam if Cam doesn't play the whole game. Whole lot of money riding on this game so I'm pulling out all the stops for it.

She's projected 111.3 to my 101.3 right now

I guess I need to amend my question, since Baldwin left Wed. practice with a hamstring issue, which surprised the analysts enough to downgrade him to "questionable."

While definitely starting M. Bryant against BAL, I still need 2 more WRs between Baldwin (v STL), Cooper (v SD), and Hurns (v NO).


I'm not feeling Cooper and this matchup tonight, but I'm concerned about Baldwin's sudden injury and how it might effect Sunday. Should I play Cooper tonight as a preventative move?

If it turns out his hamstring is something serious and he doesn't play, then I might have to rush to find a 3rd WR last minute. But if given the choice, I'd almost rather play Hurns in a Bortles-offense against NO's terrible pass D, which I'd lose if I play Cooper tonight and Baldwin's healthy. (Appreciate the help)

Apparently Carroll after practice said Baldwin could be a game time decision.



Edit: Guess I'm going with Cooper...and I feel like I might regret it.

Need some help with my RBs/Flex spots, need to pick four out of these five.

D. Martin v Chi
T. Gurley v Sea
C. West v Cle
D. Johnson v GB
K. Williams v Dal

I'm mostly debating Williams vs Gurley. Seattle D worries me more than Williams shoulder.

I would go with West and Johnson, but Williams is a good play too.

1) Who out of Denard Robinson (plays NO) OR Tim Hightower (plays Jax - better run D but might be throw less depending on injury to Brees)

I'm projected to win the championship in a league where I had a losing record. Lead the league in scoring just had bad luck until now

Anyone, thoughts on Hightower or D. Robinson?

Pretty sure I'm close to done either way.
