Yet another brilliant job by ESPN Films. At the end of the day, love them or hate them, they changed everything. I'll take those guys on my side any day. The way they've still got each other's backs is refreshing.

wished that cwebber would have participated.

Jalen Rose was excellent in the documentary, I'd be willing to just sit and listen to him tell stories for two hours

This was phenomenal. The HBO doc on Tark's UNLV was pretty good too, but not as good as the Fab 5.

It sucked to see how some of the "fanbase" reacted to the Fab 5.

...plenty of douchebaggery from the vocal minority in that situation.

Very well done. One of those situations where you wonder if Fischer really didn't know anything or didn't want to know. I will say, I didn't recall the taunting, which stood out to me on the special's highlights. Trash talking was the norm for a lot of players, but the in your face yelling and pointing was allowed, for whatever reason. Of course, I was just a year or 2 older, so maybe i just didn't care at the time. I'm just ticked because i never got to wear the baggy shorts.

Maybe it is me having my head in the sand but I was surprised at the amount of real hate they got from parts of the Michigan fan base.

I always thought he was the most talented and least articulate of the 5.
Agree 100% on the first part of that statement, couldn't disagree more on the second. Webber is one of the most intelligent athletes I've ever met.

That surprises me a little. Maybe it's just the aloof personality throwing me off.

Even after UK's loss to the Fab Five in the Final Four, I still respected and followed those guys. I was 13 that year, and I remember well purchasing my black socks and other such items. They changed the game from top to bottom. This is a great documentary, FWIW.

Perhaps this has already been mentioned/discussed elsewhere this weekend considering both documentaries just aired, but... Fab 5 vs. Runnin' Rebs. Who wins?

UNLV. If all of those guys would have stayed for 4 years then maybe it's a discussion.

I wish the Fab 5 had won a title. Regardless, I want to see this, because I'm not old enough to remember them.

nobody's even talking about the the Webber timeout if Alan Henderson doesn't go out right before the the start of the tourney. that IU squad was loaded.

i always thought the focus on that TO was silly. everybody in the world has admitted he walked at this point. hard to blame the guy.

if i recall they only beat IU once in their two full years. i enjoyed this tremendously as a kid who grew up in a Big 10 home. was trip back you my earliest basketball memories.

IU would certainly been the favorite if healthy. One thing people do forget is how good the Ohio State team the Fabs beat in the regional finals their freshman year was. Jim Jackson was as good a college player is I've seen.

If I know ESPN like I think I do, you should be able to watch it just about every night.

Funderburke was a hard nosed guy who gave RMK fits too, in Bloomington and Columbus.

I remember the Chaney/Jackson match ups better than the the games with the Fabs.
