The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (Disney+)

I was a bit skeptical about how these would look, even after Marvel said these shows would have movie-sized budgets. But after Wandavision and watching this trailer, I'm really impressed.

Makes me excited about the rumors of a Shield continuation on Disney+. Imagine them getting a real budget to work with.

Killmonger is one they should have kept around. With MBJ’s ever-growing Hollywood success, a redemption story for him, or even him just continuing in a villain role, could have payed dividends.

Heard a rumor he may be coming back to take on the BP role. He is open to coming back.

In comics no one is ever really dead-dead (except Uncle Ben and still get occasional after-life appearances from him). Although that has taken a lot the stakes out of events. Whenever I see a character die I kinda role my eyes.

Glad to see the Hydra story back. Org Cap is one of my fave Marvel movies.

From what I understand, some times it's the actor/actress involved who doesn't want to tied into long term contracts. Which of course they could just get a replacement but I know how that is received sometimes. I'm pretty sure that's why Jeff Bridges was killed off in the first Iron Man, he didn't want to do any sequels.

Understandable. I’m surprised they held the Avengers cast together so long. That’s a hell of a lot of movies but also a hell of a lot of money.

I’m always amazed at the Harry Potter cast holding together.

I love this is coming out the same week as the Snyder Cut so the internet can have a Marvel vs DC argument.

I thought it was good though it was kinda a bit too much setup in a way. I kind of wish they would have release Episode 2 as well but I get they didn't since it's only 6 episodes. It was like they spent the whole episode doing a slow burn then bam introduce Walker at the end. The pacing felt a bit off.

But that was a hell of an intro.

Is Walker the new Cap, Officially or just for show?

I agree. The two title characters didn’t even interact.

I did enjoy the character dissection of both. Sam was barely given any backstory in the movies so it was nice to see that. Likewise, Bucky is now the man out of time like Steve except he has this tremendous baggage. Throw in both were snapped and having to deal with their return.

And on that note, I heard a funny thought the other day. Would there be a considerable portion of the snapped who would deny the snap even happened?
