Not as polished of a WR as the others but he is a blocking machine and beast of a man. If he plays his role he will be a huge mismatch and also open lanes downfield. Very valuable IMO as opposed to Milton who was practically useless and a disappointment.

I think the word Beast is thrown around to loosely. North is a beast. Croom has to prove he will play like his size this year. I hope he does it's year 3 for him.

Croom had that sweet catch against Oregon in the first quarter. Not that this makes him the better receiver (thought he probably is).

3rd year in the program. Redshirt Sophomore. Even though we should petition the NCAA to just dismiss any years players spent under Dooley.

IMO it's year two for everyone who was on the team last year. Yea Croom is a RS Sophomore but hopefully we see better play around the horn in year two of this system. Worley, Lane, Pig, Croom etc. North just balls out he is an exception.

He does know the kid, so it seems natural most of his posts would be about him. At least to me it seems normal.

I really hope Vic is an instant impact and becomes a team leader later. Seems like he has a lot of influence on the young guys already.

Sorry I'll try to be more balanced In my post. I just want him to do well. He got such a raw deal while he was here and we definitely could have used him against Alcoa.
