It's a program that allowed India to export $5.7 billion of stuff duty-free.
India has some incredibly smart and talented people, a huge workforce, and lot of extreme poverty, and they've been free of British colonialism for 70+ years. They should have it figured out by now. For all the evils of colonialism, the British did leave India with the beginnings of a significant educational system and infrastructure. I do have a big problem when India does stuff like producing blood pressure medications containing carcinogens, though. Innovation is one thing, but being sure new cost saving techniques are safe is a major factor.
Have 100,000 “asylum seekers” show up at the Southern border wanting to claim it and watch what happens.
Arms will not be outstretched.
I never said gp back to be murdered, but I did say a lot of them wete trouble, and the majority had zero intention of coming here legally. That's all I ask, actually it's your whole point that they're just seeking asylum. If that's the case, then why get violent at the border instead of going through the process? I mean if they're truly just poir pitiful families seeking asylum, then you'd think they'd be grateful waiting at the border for their opportunity to come to America! Instead, they're storming the border and causing problems. Why? They have zero interest in doung what you and the left claim they're doing. They want the free crap, and turn around and complain how america isn't south America. You're right to at least some degree. @joevol33 proved that the other day. His excuse was that some of them threw stones so they can all go back to Honduras and get murdered.
I recall some saying we should shoot the asylum seekers. My comment about people paying lip service was not meant to be a disagreement with you. I think people who say it's all about legality are usually FOS. Never seen one of those types oppose Trump's restrictions on legal immigration
This is the bigger issue: when you aggravate another country over trade tit-for-tatisms (e.g., is India buying enough motorcycles?), are you damaging a relationship that could be worth more strategically? I believe India has been buying Russian weapons and stuff.

Declaring asylum at the border should be respected and properly vetted. I’ve got no problem with that. But they don’t get to come in before it’s granted I think.I don’t think anyone cares whether those crossing over are “illegal” or “asylum seekers”.
They’re all the same to those opposed to the influx at the Southern border.
Yep, India has been flying Migs for years.
Or simply ask for asylum in the first safe country available ... like Mexico. In the spirit of NAFTA perhaps we should just ship them on up to the Canadian border ... pass through like Mexico does.
Mixed Martial Trade. What is this MMT?
The only MMT I know is methylcyclopentadienyl manganese tricarbonyl. Used to be an additive in most all gasoline when we had leaded gas - it was synergistic with TEL in boosting octane. I actually got involved in making MMT in my first but short-lived business venture. Called it Volunteer Chemical Company.
