You are using highly misleading language regarding the situation. I've read the report.

Lack of institutional control is the key. There is a big difference between letting the reigns too loose, which is all anybody can prove happened, vs. giving money and benefits directly to the players, which is what everybody is making it sound like what happened, at least re: Reggie Bush.

Bottom line: What Pete Carroll and the SC AD allowed to happen were both illegal and impermissible, but everybody's making it sound like some Alabama-type wrong-doing which is totally false.
