The Golf Thread

Weather here has sucked out loud daily for almost 4 months now, I haven't touched a club since the AZ trip right before Christmas, I'm starting to get the itch to play pretty badly, somethings gotta give, either a break in the weather or hop on another plane to greener pastures.

yea
I saw him Saturday and he's worried about that
He's not going for a few more weeks, so he should be fine..

If the weather doesn't cooperate he's changing and going to Scottsdale

The weather here has been pretty rough lately too. We've had more rain here since October that I can remember in my 28 years of living. And we actually had about 4-6 inches of snow come in last week. That never happens here. We get snow maybe about once every 5 or 6 years, but never that much. I've still been playing quite a bit, but I've been freezing my butt off and will definitely need to buy some new shoes in the spring to replace the mud covered ones I'm playing in now.

Dustin Johnson: legit, or a bomb-and-gouge guy who can win on a relatively short course due to otherworldly power, but has no chance in a major?

Dustin Johnson is only going to get better IMO, I can see a few majors in his future if he works on his short game, if he ever finds a consistant putting stroke, he'll be a force on the tour for years to come.

did anyone else know besides me that ross mcgowan played for the BIG ORANGE? How many are saying who are u talking about! The guy that beat steve stricker!!

big win for him i'm sure, but beating someone in a match play format isn't that impressive. anything can happen in that format.

It's supposed to be 52 degrees here today, think I'll go hit a few buckets, probably have to hit 2 buckets of wedges just to see if I can find anything remotely resembling a golf swing after this long of a layoff.

All righty......going down next week for a conference......lets see what suggestions I get on where to play.

Raven?
Burnt Pine?
Kelly Plantation?

I am a much better than average golfer..... so challenge me!
Thanks in advance :hi:

So Sunday looks like the day that the '10 golfing season will start for me.

I plan on being really good this year.

I've only played burnt pine, once., and it's private, so if you have the option to play it, you should

Out of the 3, I like Kelly Plantation the best, but they are all 3 solid
