I just don't trust those things. My Dad got a rangefinder that I used the other day for an entire round. I'm going to break down and buy one. It takes all the guesswork out.

It sucks on the two courses here directly on Bragg, but I use FreeCaddie on all the other courses around here (Pinehurst/Raleigh) as well as back home and it's never off by more than maybe three yards at most.

Graysburg Hills is one of my favorite courses ever, and typically this time of year it's perfect. Crockett's Ridge is great, especially for the price. I'd also recommend The Crossings in Jonesborough.
If you have an in with people there, the Johnson City Country Club and what used to be called The Ridges are both good courses, but membership is required or coming as a guest of a member.
After those, Meadowview is nice, Warriors Path is pretty good, Elizabethton is a great test of all shots and Tri Cities is a value for the money, but I've had several issues with other players not knowing what they were doing and some issues with the Rangers and starters thinking they were working a TPC setup.
I haven't played cottonwoods. I think they've had problems with their greens for awhile (could be wrong). Tunica National is a pretty good, but tough, course.
