Shot a 41 today which is pretty good for me.

3 putted a par 3 which pissed me off then ended the day with a birdie on a 500 yard par 5.

My son had a 12 ft eagle putt on a par 5 last week and bogied it. I laughed.

For those that have participated before, I put up a Best Ball Challenge in the Endzone for The Travelers Championship. This will be the last one until the British next month.

I had to turn down an offer to play in the Pro Am tomorrow for the LPGA event here in Northwest Arkansas

Also if you didn't catch it, the Lee Trevino special the golf channel ran last night was really good

We are goin through a GRI. I'm informing one of my customers Friday on the golf course. Hoping that softens the blow. Doubtful but its worth a shot.

I think they may have aerated recently.

Dang, that's pretty late if they have. Maybe they've changed equipment since they have new greens. If not I may just go to Ruggles, River Islands has destroyed greens in the past when they punch them.

Shot an 89 today at Fields Ferry in Calhoun, Ga if anyone knows where that is. 49 on the front, 40 on the back. First time I've played in nearly 2 months. Front 9 was a disaster. Had a 7 on a par 3, followed that with an 7 on a par 4. Had a par on 8 and 9. I finished with 2 birdies, 3 pars, 2 doubles and 2 bogies on the back. I was putting and chipping much better on the back 9. I missed an eagle putt by about 2 inches on par 5 #16.

This game is lunacy. 46-35 today. Felt like I had never held a club early, then finally hit one square and it changed.

it's been a couple of months or so. i'd say if all went well they are nice. i played right after and it was brutal.

Dang how often do they aerate? Most places only do it about twice, once in spring & another late summer/early fall. At least local courses have went to a smaller punch instead of those half inch crater punches.

River Islands had some old country guy using the half inch punch, but he made double passes. We had to play if its a grip length of the hole it counts.
