First hole-in-one yesterday. 125 yd par 3 with a pitching wedge. Landed a yard past the hole, took one hop and sucked back into the hole.

Skin won=$8
Bar tab=$120
Feeling after seeing ball go in the hole=priceless

Thanks guys. BAMA losing, Florida losing, Tennessee winning in football and basketball and a hole in one all in the same day. I may not sober up until tomorrow.

welcome to the club. Now go get obnoxious online with hole in one plaques and gear.

Further proof that the entire world will record an Ace before I do.

I was beginning to think that as well. I've witnessed 4 of them from my friends in the last year or so alone. I've played for 22 years and the last 6 yrs or so play 3-5 times a week from March thru October. I had been close many times, actually came really close the day before.

I now hope that the same thing happens after I had my first eagle on a par 4. Got another one less than 2 weeks after the first one. Prolly won't happen, but one can dream.

I've probably jarred it from 100+ yards for eagle 5-6 times over the years. Just never on a Par 3.

not bad for December

whats crazy is my handicap goes down by 2-3 strokes each winter and it goes up @ June. Was a 7.5 last year, went to an 11 in the summer with some horrid, tinkering with the swing golf, now I'm down to an 8. 3 frozen bunkers cost me 6 strokes on the front. Didn't know how to hit it an short sided from frozen sand was more than I could handle.

yea, when bunkers are inconsistent it really messes with you

I scoped it out and it looked really nice, Montgomery Bell state park is a decent course, that is actually pretty nice for out here in the sticks.
