The Golf Thread

When they add a windmill to the green on 16 and they have to hit it in the dragon mouth on 12, then I'll be right there with you. Until then, I don't care care what the players think about it.

I'll say this. I'm not interested in hearing any whining. As screwy as the setups can be, they're the same for everybody.

The USGA can get too crazy with course setups sometimes, but I don't want to see our country's national championship winning score to be 13 shots under Par or more.

It's a straight up British Open, baked out, links setup this week. Just saw a video of a guy bouncing a golf ball on one of the fairways like a basketball. Looks like bad astroturf. Going to be really hard to control the run out.

Let my group hit from tees relative to our handicaps/fairness and I would almost guarantee we can shoot better than a combined +26.

I'm watching the CWS, but have followed the scores. With his mental state and overall state of his game, this is exactly what I expected from Tiger. He honestly had no business trying to play this kind of course.

Tiger won't fold though. Can we stop making that post every week he plays bad?

Can you imagine having to mow these greens?. You'd have to take a Dramamine before you started.
