Ohio State is 10-1-1 in the 12 games these two teams have played, with Missouri’s only win coming in Columbus in 1976 (also only 2 of those games were played in Columbia; 8 were in Columbus).

This also marks Missouri’s 3rd appearance in the Cotton Bowl since 2007/2008…which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that they’ve kept ending up there each time whenever they have their great seasons.

(Though I have to wonder if that also technically makes the Cotton Bowl that program’s ceiling….)

Dang, I didn’t realize that the Cotton Bowl had gotten downgraded into the last-week-of-December-bowls.

I feel good about Mizzou's chances tonight. This will be the first time in OSU history that a QB has made his debut in a bowl game.

Just put $25 on Mizzou. They have basically their entire roster, tOSU is missing their 2 best players plus more. Id actually be surprised if this one stays close

Bowl games have obviously lost some their meaning and luster over the past 10 years. That said, Ryan Day needs to win this game. Ohio State isn’t supposed to lose to the Mizzou’s of the world, no matter the record or ranking.

I have in-season hate for Missouri and Twerpowitz but Ohio State is basically the Yankee version of Alabama, so I suppose I'm tepidly interested in seeing an SEC team whip them. Of course, giant meteor wouldn't be so bad either.

I want the SEC to get a win and for OSU to lose, but at the same time I can't imagine how unbearable Drink would be if Mizzou gets an 11th win in a NY6 bowl. Guy reminds me of the little nerd that got picked on that wants to rub it in as many faces as possible now that he sniffs success.

Does that carpet field look wavy and loose?
I think the TV cameras do something to distort how artificial turf fields look. Every game I've attended in person that has a turf field has looked fine. Many of them on TV, including at Jerryworld, have these weird lines in them that make the field look matted.

Want both to lose but really don’t want dorkwitz to end this season with similar record to what we did last year.
