Um, defense gave up historic numbers to two of the worst teams in the SEC. That's directly related to coaching. Injuries or not, that shouldn't happen vs those two teams.

CBJ hasn't had our team prepared all year for not one damn game. Just because we destroyed Kentucky and they pulled of a miracle upset against an overrated Louisville team doesn't excuse Jones for his lackluster coaching

True but UK was picked to get absolutely blown out. What was Georgia favored by? Maybe 6? The UK win is much bigger than any other East team's loss.

I understand that, but if we're better, though, our middle / upper middle teams should also be winning games against OOC teams with similar or slightly better records (or not doing things like blowing 2 TD leads in the game's last 7 minutes).

Not to mention - and I'm not defending Louisville here - UK upsetting Louisville in a rivalry doesn't automatically make the idea that even the bad teams in the East would suddenly beat them either.

I think this is more an indication of "Bobby Petrino's not a great coach" than it is "the SEC East is clearly better than everyone thought it was."
