The Governers Cup (Kentucky @ #11 Louisville - 12pm

This could get ugly. Petrino will want to ensure Jackson wins the Heisman, so look for him to play most of the game and put up Madden numbers. He also has had no qualms with running up the score this year (though he once whined to Les Miles about it while at Ark). On the bright side, you're going to a bowl game... and it's basketball season.
Just goes to show...a lot of posters on VN get it wrong a lot of the time lol

At UK overachieves. I give Stoops credit for how he built that team to get to a bowl. he'll get a decent job soon!

It is a far better job than it was 5 years ago. Huge upgrades to the infrastructure, an AD committed to football. Not saying that we will keep Stoops long term, but the success should give him some pause.

USCe loss. All the evidence anyone needs. SEC east champs all but locked up and let it slip away, and the sad thing is, doesn't even seem to show that it matters at all

Congrats Kentucky fans

Its football. These things happen. Teams have bad games. Teams have good games. There are no sure things, especially in this conference. Losing to USCe hurt like hell and still does, but by no means does it mean its time for a coaching change.

lots of good teams playing like a$$ today.

Honestly thought both teams played decent. Yes, turnovers, but overall it's not like UK got handed the win. We still had to make a lot of plays and show some guts to win it.

Happy for the team. If we had any defense this year...oh well.

Yea..got to find out where he plateaus....you don't fire a coach who is moving the program in the right direction. When he hits his ceiling then you have to decide what to do...

8-9 wins. We have great facilities. We have some playmakers because of the recruiting. But unless we magically start beating UT/UF/UGA with any regularity, we'll always be the best of the worst (Mizzou, Vandy, USCjr). We can definitely compete against UL, they simply won't be as good as they are this year. But unless we start recruiting crazy, or get a good DC, we are stuck under 8-9 wins max. 7 this year was solid though. 9 would have been having everything bounce our way an entire season.
