Oh man. I agree 100% with circus peanuts. My dad liked those and ate them often. I think I had mentally blocked that from my mind to prevent further traumatization from the time I tried one.

Reece's pieces and Peanut M&Ms are tough to beat. Some other of my old favorites that I don't think have been mentioned: Twizzlers, Gobstoppers, Hot Tamales, and Sweet Tarts. Don't laugh, but I had a strange affinity for Dots back in the day, too.

My son wanted to add a vote for 100 Grand.

Dots are fantastic. Still eat them.

We were at a pumpkin patch last weekend. The farm had loose corn on the ground. My kids said hey dad that looks like candy corn. Not used to seeing it off the cob.

I agree with a lot of these......I might dump the sour patch kids and pick up atomic fireballs..... and insert a Baby Ruth for one of the other candy bars.... it's a tough call

The real question here is, how do they squeeze so much deliciousness into a single, tiny candy corn piece?

I don't know what they're called, but my mom always got those ones in the plain black and orange wrappers. They were horrible.

My theory is that orange and black candy has not been made since 1968. It is handed out at Halloween, thrown in the streets by disgusted children, washes into the sewer, where it is collected and rebagged for the following year. I have never met anyone who likes it.

Also Bit o Honey is terrible.

Skittles sucks now because they changed lime to green apple and they're still labeling it "original".

Reeses cups are good but the seasonal ones, the pumpkin, the christmas tree, easter egg are the real winners. The peanut butter to chocolate ratio is the best with those.
