The Great Labor Force Debate

Well, in a significant number of situations, that is exactly what it is.

Not "all", but a significant number.
Google says a p value of 5% qualifies as significant.

Wonderful! Then there are a number of corporations offering healthy employee financial opportunities on top of their payroll.

These screwed little guys yall have self-appointed as protector of only need to hire on at better work situations. Win win.

I've been self employed most of my life. I have little patience for people bitchin and moaning about their employment when they lack the balls to do something proactive about it.

Just live paycheck to paycheck until you’re at least 59.5 years old. Then…..maybe.

Oh it's been going on for a long time. I mean why would anyone want to work these "unskilled" jobs anyways at this point? Plus there are better jobs out there according to Ricky and crew.
So there’s not better jobs out there than a restaurant job?

Maybe go grow your own garden and stop depending on others to help feed you. Let's see how that works out for you. Oh let me guess. I bet you are doing that already.
People don’t pay people at fast food places because they can’t grow garden or make their own food 😂😂😂

It’s so hilarious that these unskilled labor guys who complain about wages and raises and company policies and whatever else don’t seem to realize that they CHOOSE to work there and have the ability to WORK anywhere they are qualified for or even better can GAIN more experience and education to BETTER themselves.

But it’s easier to whine about rich people and rules and feel slighted because unskilled labor is a hurtful phrase emotionally

And those places are still having a labor shortage.
There's always been a high turnover rate in the restaurant industry. I had to work double shifts at one restaurant due to the third shift manager not showing up. It only happened a few times but still wasn't fun working from 2pm to 7am the next morning.

That used to be my customary weekend in college.
Fri PM, double Sat, double Sun. Some nights in between shifts I had dreams I was waiting tables. Brutal.

One employee, making $13k part time and that couldn't get time off, shutdown a small town. I know I know, "she was working part time and needed time off"? Yeah, because 16 hrs wasn't enough time to do the work needed, so she often spent extra time (likely unpaid) to keep up with the work.

I wonder if she was more "valuable" than $13k?

Sounds like this woman was doing everything to keep the town running. And did I also hear correctly that town officials were wanting a salary increase for themselves?
