This team is mediocre.

A poster asked last night, what's the best win in SEC that UT has now?

Also, this team's effort is a disgrace. I don't know if it's entitlement or just flat out indifference, but either way it needs to be adjusted, and adjusted quickly.

A poster? Love that. The best wins are the 6 they've won and the worst are the 3 they've lost. They have 7 more games and plenty of resume' games left if that's what you're looking for.

I'm just curious why you're so over the top negative after a loss but barely excited after a win? Usually the hot and cold people are extreme to both ends?

I'm not going back to look which poster asked it. You can take that upon yourself.

Also, for the 700th time to you. It's not the wins and losses, it's the manner in which it was lost.

Whether you can get off your knees at the BP throne long enough to see that the effort sucked royally last night and was a disgrace is your own damn issue.

Who said the effort was good? I thought they looked awful. What I do realize though is that it isn't the end of the world and all of a sudden everything is not now broken and needing fixed.

And I joked about "a poster" because you know who said it. No biggie, just busting your chops.

If I knew who said it, why would I have not posted it?

Things have been broken for a while now.

We're just seeing how BP coached teams do in the latter stages of the year.

Things are not "broken." If you want to see broken, I'll show you about 100 other teams in the NCAA that would love to be this broken.

Since Pearl's arrival at Tennessee, the last 10 regular season games of the year he is 7-3, 8-2, 9-1 and 6-4. I would say that's finishing the year pretty strong.

Yes, I know....Bring on the tourney stats. Too lazy to look them up myself.

6-4 is strong?

The latter part of the year (SEC tourney and NCAA Tourney) is a clinic on coaching by BP isn't it?

30-10 overall is. And the 6-4 year, Kentucky finished 3-7, Florida 4-6, USC 6-4 and Vandy 7-3.

It all makes perfect sense now. To you, 6-4 is strong, thus you are completely satisfied with just being a 15-25 ranked team.

Reading comprehension is key. 6-4 was his worst finish and in that year the rest of the competition in the East finished worse save Vandy.

Finishing strong is not relative to how other teams finish. 6-4 is not finishing strong. Period.

This is a lesson in beating one's head against a wall. 9-1, 8-2, 7-3 and 6-4. Outside of the 6-4 year that's finishing the regular season very strong. PERIOD.

:banghead2: You might want to backup and read again.

I don't have to. You said 6-4 was finishing strong. I called you on it. It's cool though. You enjoy mediocrity and pass it off as "strong" and I don't. I think we have proved our points.

It's just as relevant today. Probably more so, actually.

It's not relevant but I'm not wasting a day going down this path again. If you want to see my thoughts on this one you'll have to look at my post history I'm sure it's still out there.

Yeah, we finished stronger that year than 4 NIT teams. We should hang a banner and build some statues.

I love how you (and that karate kid dude) pull the one year out and focus on it yet ignore the other 3 years. Fits your arguments better.

No, you're the one who tried to fluff last year's finish by acting as if the fact they came played better in their last 10 games than a team that got its coach fired and three other dreck NIT squads was meaningful. I simply pointed out the idiocy of that exercise.

You included that year in a list to support your finishing strong statement. 6-4 is not finishing strong. Admit the error and move on, people are going to have differing opinions from time to time, deal with it.

I bet your checkbook is a mess if you don't care what type of result you get for how much you pay.
