There's an big difference but I've called out Luther before too. The ones I've called out recently are 100% lies posted and then just ignored.

Do you have an issue with complete lies being called out?

There’s no difference . Only the selective way its brought up . There are 100s of BS tweets and thousounds of BS posts this forum . But only selective ones are brought up . Meh it’s his thing .

No, if equally applied. It seems certain lies get more of your attention, maybe because they are more recent, I dunno?

I don’t run to anyone’s defense I just said what the perception is . I didn’t make that perception happen and I’m not alone in thinking the perception is there .

Why do I care about that when you won't even call out 100% lies? The perception from others who readily admit they do the exact same should affect me how? The difference is you never call out one you believe to be on your team. That's pretty weak to call me or for something you're too scared to do yourself.

I don’t care if it affects you or not . That would require me to somehow be emotionally invested in you . I didnt call you out or I would have quoted you . I posted an observation .

Man after reading some of the nuke energy fear mongering on the last 4 or 5 pages I’m guessing AOC’s plan is the plan we deserve.

Just think of all of those death trap nuke reactors at anchor in our sub bases and naval ports.

LOL. Unfortunately they are stored on site now. Two methods are cooling pools and dry casks.

They are currently stored onsite only because Obama shut down the option of moving them to Nevada to the site that was specifically built to house spent coils.

So yeah....there’s s place just waiting for them that the dims blocked.

I have went swimming on site at a nuke plant at their family facility.
Had picnics there.

Completely safe and tested yearly during the overage.

Being afraid of nuclear energy is just stupid.

I preach this to our younger engineers with regard to maintenance and care of our expensive and delicate avionics.

“So just remember the 19 year old that’s wrenching on your $3M one of a kind prototype sensor is much more worried about if he’s gonna get laid that evening once he’s offshift than the 50 maintenance steps you’ve outlined for him.”

If you are being serious, how many have had an earthquake? I'm curious about the track record. The subs, I don't know much about, just assuming they have several kilos of uranium on board vs tons in a full scale nuclear plant.

Yes I am being totally serious about your irrational fear of nuclear energy.

The US Navy has had two major incidents involving nuclear powered vessels. The USS Thresher and the USS Scorpion. Both vessels were lost with all lives onboard and sit on the ocean floor to this day. Neither incident was related to the nuclear power plant. The Russian navy has suffered many more losses and some have been related to the power plants. Several of those vessels also remain on the ocean floor.

Last I checked Godzilla has not destroyed Tokyo yet...
