What's on the smoker?

Haha just a rack of ribs for now. Leaving for San Diego in the morning and just wanted a small smoke to test it out for now.

You like their meat? Never had any otherthan hot dogs and hamburgers

What kiddie said.

I often get the prime sirloin which is a great value.

The prime filets are outstanding but even the choice filets are great for the money.

The only issue is it comes in relatively large quantities but I typically wrap and freeze most of it (sometimes halve the large steaks before doing so). Works out great. Always have quality steaks in the freezer.

Were the costco NY strips wagyu? Cause if they were I missed it.

They had some beautiful prime Ribeyes and cap steaks when I was there yesterday. The only place I've seen Wagyu at a store here was at Mother Earth Meats, and it was around $40/pound.

Checkout Lobels. Www.lobels.com. Best steak I've had was the Waygu aged Ribeye. Even better is both times I had it, someone else picked up the tab.

Quite possibly the last tri-tip I'll grill in California. Off to Charlotte in a week. Looking forward to meeting new people and taking the family to their first game in Neyland. On side note...it was delicious. Lol

Grilled Oysters Rockefeller with bacon + baby spinach fondue (Guy Fieri recipe). Seriously, one of the best dishes I've ever prepared.

3 racks of ribs hit the grill an hour ago...late start as I got tied up removing and installing a new over the range microwave. Just took longer that it needed... anyway, ribs for a late night snack and feast tomorrow.

Where did you get the oysters? I live in Hermitage, and Publix has oysters in the Shell here.

Good looking recipe. One of my favorite foods.

Those are beautiful!

Brave of you to admit it was a Fieri recipe. Haha, he's such a dork, but he's not the dipchit most say he is.

Anyone grind their own beef for burgers? I'd like to try. I don't have a meat grinder but I've read you can just as well use a food processor

Yep, you can use a food processor. Just pulse the meats. That way to don't obliterate it into mush.
