The Grill and BBQ thread

this is the before pics

that one ham looks weird, like they messed up the cut on it and the meat is falling off it in chunks too

I didn't pay a lot of attention till after I had done scored it with a knife ,it is a Smithfield

one is mine and I'm giving the other to some people that came and helped me out big time with my drive way and wouldn't take any money

not many left like that :)

Looks good. I'm planning on smoking a ham for Easter.

Anyone smoked whole leg of lamb? Some store ads have it on sale this week and curious if it is worth the try!?

this looks good for a butt :)

He's trying his darndest to stuff that deli meat into the shoulder and proceeds to tell everybody it's easy. He must have asbestos fingers because he grabbed that shoulder and it was clearly steaming hot. What kills me is he proceeds to eat that messy sandwich over the pan of shredded pork.

did you see the chunk fall into the pan from his mouth ?

may have been a different video

I've just watched a couple of them, but the food looks great :)

I have many times. it's delicious. Debone and cut off almost all fat cap. Rub down with olive oil, garlic, salt, mustard seed, pepper, rosemary, and paprika all mixed together. Butcher tie it together. Smoke to 110. Finish on grill until 130

so it begins

the hams are so small that they won't set up on the side

I guess there more a cankel rather than a ham :)

Sounds good thanks!

it is getting close to time,to try the Texas Crutch and see if that works

think that is enough bark on them ? the internal temp is right at 135 and I'm suppose to have them done at darkish :)

they may go in the oven to finish them off

I just got done wrapping the chicken up in foil,to get them past the temperature wall

I think I'm going to go with this weber.

Shop Weber Spirit E-210 Black Porcelain Enamel 2-Burner (26,500-BTU) Liquid Propane Gas Grill at Lowe's

he likes it,says if he is in a hurry it is propane and if not, charcoal

Propane only. I saw a char broil that does both, but I heard a lot of good stuff about weber.

Weber is superior in quality compared to the Charbroil. Charbroil is a good grill though don't get me wrong. I know you're really wanting the 3 burner so you could get the Spirit E-310 for $100 more. The Genesis models are the next step up but are more expensive. The only difference between the Spirit and the Genesis is that they use a higher grade stainless steel in the Genesis models. I really don't think that will be an issue.

So if you want the extra burner and space it's not too far out of your reach.
