I thought that alot of people were questioning the Tar Heels D this year.
KU definitely can deal with every aspect of UNC's game, including Lawson in transition. UNC, on the other hand, cannot defend KU. That's a bad combo for UNC.It's not the horrible handicap most believe it to be, but when a team has the second highest scoring offense, and your objective is to make them look worse than they are, it's easier to argue their D is weak than it is to criticize the offense.
On the offensive side, Lawson looks like he did prior to his ankle sprain--and he's getting his feel for the court back. The 113 UNC put up in the first round was worth noting.
If Ty is healthy, and that appears to be the case, the Heels have a decent shot at winning the NC.
Duke was stone cold in their loss which was the opposite of the red hot 3-point shooting team that beat UNC earlier in the season.
The Heels will beat Arky and Wash State (it appears WSU over ND with a big lead and 3 min left) to get to the elite 8. The Vols will beat Butler, but L'ville (my pick over OK) could be a tough match up for UT.
If it does happen, and UT plays UNC, with a fast paced game, it will be a excellent match up. But a healthy Lawson combined with Hansbrough and their supporting cast will be very hard for anyone to beat.
