The Holly Bobo Kidnapping

So, what determines when the trial date will be?

It really depends

The Circuit courts usually set trials dates so that attorneys have time to work the case as well. Give the defense time to prepare a case and be able to provide the best defense.

I have testified in cases in Circuit and Federal Court that were 2 years old. These are usually because of continuous issued to the defendant to allow for change of counsel or trying to delay the inevitable, especially if they have made bail.

where are these people's attorney's...I can't believe they would let him do that interview...

Does seem like the TBI should produce the video.

What's going on is that the TBI doesn't know sht and Holly could very well even still be alive somewhere. Where the hell is the proof that she's dead even?

If they screw this case up the Bobo family ought to sue the TBI.

Until they're proven to be inept, I'll continue to hope against hope that the TBI actually know what they're doing and it will prove to be a masterfully executed investigation/prosecution.

If there is any truth to the allegations that Adams' brother started this and was threatened with the "be in the hole beside her" comment it would appear they have the right guy. Hopefully the rest of this is legit as well. Hobock? Anyone?

I saw this segment on the news last night. The female witness used a tape recording and asked her befriend /the guy in question if they could watch the video he had on his phone of Holly and he said, "ya".

Will be interesting to follow this. Per the news, the TBI, I think, is trying to unlock one of the phones they confiscated. If they find a video, it's over. Until they do, it's not moved forward any. King, at this point, is a bit questionable. Her son has been in prison for 14 years and has 24 years left to serve. So...........Maybe a deal in progress? I don't know.

Witness says she saw Holly Bobo tied up in video

Seems to me that unlocking a cell phone would be a simple task for law enforcement.

Regardless, I hope this is the break in the case.

Yep. Sounds like stalling to me. I'd imagine that a guy at the Genius Bar in the Apple Store at West Town could get in that phone in about 15 seconds.

If you're asking me, and this is strictly an opinion, if they do have a video on a cell phone, that might be something they didn't want leaked to the public. But that is a guess, I know NOTHING about the Holly Bobo case other than what I read on here.

I do know for a fact that a locked cell phone is no problem for the TBI.

I said it's already unlocked and they are waiting on something else or the video doesn't prove what they initially wanted it to
