I just seen a picture of about 200 vehicles that shown up at the fairgrounds and they're still showing up..makes me proud to be from this small community.

I appreciate the info you're giving. I'm just trying to rationalize it in context. I suppose the call for help could mean law enforcement help and not the public request for help.
Breaking: Investigators are asking for volunteer search parties to report now to the Decatur County Fairgrounds. 911 Dispatchers are asking nearby rescue squads for additional manpower. Authorities say they hope to release a massive search, in a specific area, before bad weather strikes. Volunteers should wear rain gear and boots. And there ain't been enough time for the Lexington people to get there yet. Plus, most of the factories are just now letting off day shift. They'll be 1,000+ people there by the end of it.
