The Holly Bobo Kidnapping

The latest from Lexington via facebook on the sudden call for help -

This timeline seems a bit off, doesn't it? She realized she left her glasses at home as soon as she got to work and they are just now finding this out this late in the afternoon? Strange.

If the Facebook message is true, there is still hope that she's ok.

some people work strange shifts

That is so strange. I would think they would want the public to leave the area if they thought they had a suspect cornered. The more people they have on site the more chaotic the scene can be.

Facebook message? Sorry out on an oil lease tired.

I just seen a picture of about 200 vehicles that shown up at the fairgrounds and they're still showing up..makes me proud to be from this small community.

And there ain't been enough time for the Lexington people to get there yet. Plus, most of the factories are just now letting off day shift. They'll be 1,000+ people there by the end of it.

Agreed. Search parties aren't formed to search for suspects, but rather clues.

I appreciate the info you're giving. I'm just trying to rationalize it in context. I suppose the call for help could mean law enforcement help and not the public request for help.

They are asking for the public's help.

My guess is they think she's alive and in this area and need help finding her.

per wbbj facebook post -

Breaking: Investigators are asking for volunteer search parties to report now to the Decatur County Fairgrounds. 911 Dispatchers are asking nearby rescue squads for additional manpower. Authorities say they hope to release a massive search, in a specific area, before bad weather strikes. Volunteers should wear rain gear and boots. Well if the fb post is true it gives credit to the mobile forensics unit or hostage negotiation from Jackson.

Strange they stayed within a few miles of her house for over 24 hours if she was abducted.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised by that at all. It's pretty awesome how a whole community/surrounding communities bond like this over a common cause. Even though the circumstances are unfortunate everybody is working together and trying their best.

Really quick -

I'm just posting what people tell me. I don't know what's 100% true and what's not. It may be wrong for all I know, but I'm just trying to pass on what I get.
