Agree. It's starting to hit the frustrating/desparation stage. People WANT to believe and jump on it. We can't be mad in the good side of human nature.

Interesting. The new search area is very close to her house and kind of away from where everthing else has been taking place. Wonder if this is a lead or a blind guess.

Although I'm only part of the search party at heart and in mind, I hope the ones that are actually looking for her don't give up. They have jobs that they'll eventually have to get back to.

I found out that this weekend, the Obion River, around where I live, was searched. A psychic from North Carolina had mentioned the river and said her body would be found at the bottom. Obviously, this wasn't the case. This sounds gruesome and I'm sorry for passing along but I wanted to show an example that many of the tips authorities are getting, are being followed through with. This wasn't hearsay; this came directly from the Sheriff's Dept.

It's seems like a huge wast of resources to listen to someone playing with a magic 8-ball. I know the FBI has used psychics in the past. Is that something that's really taken seriously anymore?

True. Not a weirdo or anything but do you ever just know something. When there is no rhyme or reason? Some people do. Just think they are trying to read to much into it sometimes and others are crazy. Lots of cases get solved by people not involved have some crazy dream and then ban! case solved.

But yeah, certainly seems odd, and definitely a waste of time and resources imo.

I was wondering what good a roadblock does this late in the game... saw this in another thread.

The wording doesn't sound to sane... my point wasn't that im all in belief of all knowing psychics but it is fact that they have randomly solved cases. That's why the FBI and other law enforcement agencies do listen.

Haha. True. Just sayin' it seems at this point they're 'insight' holds as much weight as the other leads or there would be more progress. Before I start sounding like an advocate for the psychic community I am ready to move on to another subject

If the body is going to be dumped in a river, I can think of a much more convenient, bigger, and possibly "better" river than the Obion in the area.
