Seems to me that the government getting involved is not a good sign. Almost smells like a last ditch effort to me. I'm sure you have more experience than me, does that sound like it to you?

There's been a strong urging for volunteers to show up out at the fairgrounds within the last few minutes. Wonder if something is up or they're just asking for more help because of lack of numbers?

Also just heard another rumor that this includes drugs. I know it's been mentioned before; just thought I'd throw that out there.

Hell, Tiger, your alien theory is sounding better and better to me.

Someone involved in this HAS to slip up soon, you'd think.

Just thinking of it from her perspective - running away sends message that you don't want your family anymore. Maybe she rationalized the abduction as better so she "could sleep at night".

Throwing out ideas only. Since there are no leads, no suspects, no clues, no nothing.....run away is still plausible.

Abondoned car found with phone? Not sure. Blood on the carport belonged to whom? No clue. Road blocks set up for what? No idea. Volunteers seaching randomly? Certainly appears so.

the drugs thing is probably the truth in this case, as sad as it seems. i'm afraid it could have been a situation where she accidentally, or by acquaintance, new too much about something/someone.

True but the way I heard the rumor was that someone in her family may have owed money. So they take her. I don't know her family so I'm not going to judge them. This, along with MANY others, is just another possible scenario.

Questioning residents and motorists, added to a new search direction leads ne to believe there is no trail. Hurts to say that but with a lack of anything else for a couple days now and all the people/technology involved sounds discouraging

If, and I repeat if, some names I've heard are truly associated with this, drugs would be about the only connection.
