The Holly Bobo Kidnapping

They've found things before and kept them hush-hush. Why do you think the TBI would release the fact that they've found something very "important"?

Not a clue.

I hope it means there's going to be an easter miracle and she will be alive.

I'm hoping so.

I think, from my amateur opinion, that they have been very close at times. With a roller coaster case like this, releasing info like this has to be a sign that there is a glimmer of hope.

I could be wrong, though.

Good question. I also wonder why they called for firefighters and rescue squad for "specialized foot search".

Either tampering issues or special equipment/training to get to the search areas I would think.

Interesting the tbi hasn't released anything that i can tell. This is all through volunteer sources and dispatch calls.

My bad. Nunley's tweet wasn't specific. It just said, "Breaking".

No worries. I just went back and reread them.

That said, he must be convinced because he has not tweeted anything that is hearsay at all.

Oh yeah, and clean out your pm box.

The find was the result of a phone call... search teams may not have been the ones who found it.
saw this in Jackson Sun...

"A group of volunteers walking along U.S. 641/Tenn. 69 today found an item near 100 Eaton St. as searchers combed the terrain in northern Decatur County on foot in the hunt for missing nursing student Holly Bobo."

"Decatur County Sheriff Roy Wyatt said the lead discovered sometime this morning or Saturday evening fueled their Northern Decatur County search, which would continue for another day. He would not comment on what the lead entailed but said law enforcement received a tip in the form of a phone call."

Anyone else reading about it on blinkincrime.com? How legit is that site? I'm not familiar with it at all. We (VN) have been mentioned a couple of times on there. Specifically one of Tiger's posts from 4/16. Who is this "Blink" person and do they know what they're talking about or is it all just their "gut feelings"?

I can promise you it's not me.

And sites such as that are the specific reason I don't post as much as I hear.

A blurb from UPI article...

"Gwyn said Bobo may have been spirited away from the immediate area but investigators believe she is still in the state."

... First time I've seen this statement.

Story

The focus Sunday was on Holladay Road which connects Bobo's home where she was abducted and last seen alive to Interstate 40. Investigators believe the man who took her might have tried to get to the interstate as quickly as possible and that clues might lie on the side of the road. Volunteers search for anything that might have been thrown out the window or any item of Bobo's that might lead them deeper into a section of woods.

"Anywhere that's far enough to toss a bag, a purse, jewelry, keys, just something off into the woods," said Jason Greer with the Henderson County Rescue Squad. They are looking along about 30 miles of roads throughout three counties.

"There is a method to the madness. It's hard to do, but we got it going," said Greer.

I wasn't suggesting that you were posting there. It was one of a couple of times that info from VN was mentioned. I've told you from day 1 that I appreciated all that you've been able to share with us and that holds true even now. I just assumed that someone from here was linking info to that site and I just figured that person would have some idea as to how legit this "Blink" person and site was. That's all. Didn't mean to call you out.

No worries.

I just hope they linked my Kiffin/Orgeron quote.

The interwebz search tools allow a lot of people to read.

"Volunteers tell FOX13's Earle Farrell significant pieceeevidence in Holly Bobo case is cell phone. Earle waiting to hear from authorities. "

-the exact tweet from fox13 website
