I guess for some it is easier to believe he awoke or was in a shower when he saw her being carried or lead into the woods by a person in camouflage who happened to resembled her ex boyfriend and that she dropped evidence throughout her trek to a secret hideout on the property of some prominent and wealthy family who will not allow authorities to search said property.

And it's just as easy at this point to believe that the perp left the trail, not Holly, and that he was also part of the volunteer searchers.

You were also confident that this whole thing was gonna blow up on a Friday a week or two ago and nothing came of that. I'm not bashing, I just don't think anyone can be confident of anything regarding this case right now.

I stated from the beginning that was totally a gut feeling.

Take it or leave it, I don't care. I can just tell you with with fairly confident certainty her brother isn't a suspect nor did he do it.

Agree. We didn't get to page 109 based on facts and facts alone. For the most part, this thread has been a healthy and civil discussion.

Although I admit that I've found it curious that LE/TBI have made a point to publicly clarify that NO ONE has been ruled out as a suspect in Holly's disappearance, I agree with Tiger (and others) that the liklihood of Clint Bobo being involved is slim to none.

Unfortunately the lack of credible information in the case leaves us open to (mis)interpretation and our imaginations to fill in the blanks left by LE. However, I'd like to think it's safe to assume that everyone participating in this thread (including the aforementioned newly-joined "wackos") is connected by a common element - the distress of Holly's abduction and the desire to see her return home unharmed. Although the majority of us here do not believe (in the slightest) that Holly's brother played a malicious role in her disappearance, I think speculations to this effect are only coming from our innate determination to make sense of/understand the inexplicable, such as harming an innocent young woman, and are not intended to offend.

All crime is driven by motive; logic dictates that the likliest of motives in an abduction of a beautiful 20 year-old woman would be sexual in nature, be that of intention to have sexual contact or a scorned lover/admirer... (According to the Encyclopedia of Crime and Punishment (e/David Levinson), sibling homicide is extremely rare and accounts for less than 1% of murders where the victim/offender relationship was known.)
I was wondering if anyone has heard anything further about Jason Everett Nickell, the violent sex-offender that was arrested by Jackson Police for stalking and exposing himself to two 19 year-old women in multiple incidents in the days preceding Holly's disappearance? Was this man known locally prior to his recent arrest?

Still a lot of speculation out on the interwebs about this that I'm confused now as to the facts. Are these all the facts as we know them? I can't remember if the cell phone was confirmed.

1 Holly Bobo is missing
2 Some small amount of blood found at/on/near driveway
3 Lunch box/purse found
4 Duct tape w/ blond hairs

And, a comment from Tigers first post that continues to pop up in this thread and on the internet--Something doesn't add up.

Guys, something is amiss in this case. I don't believe she was taken to the woods, and I don't believe the abductor is some evil genius who throws fake clues around.
I believe they left in a car/truck and are long gone. Keep it simple.

And on it goes. I just wish LE or TBI would throw us a bone on what they think happened. I don't want to believe that she is no longer with us however, as time goes by the likihood of her being found alive dwindles. Is this going to go the way of so many other missing persons and turn into a cold case. I pray not and I pray that the steps of the investigators are led by God to find Holly. We somehow have to find a way as a society to make it know this kind of behavior by anyone will NOT be tolerated. Of course, I know it still will but we need to have stiffer penalties for these kinds of actions.
