The Holly Bobo Kidnapping

No, the details would stay under wraps until they wanted them out because it's still an ongoing investigation.

They didn't pull a first degree murder charge out of their asses like you're insinuating.

My argument is that you either have factual evidence or you don't. Releasing it before a trial should have no bearing on conviction unless the evidence you have is crap or questionable. Unless you'd care to enlighten me otherwise.

Agree with coug.

If you have evidence, and you have actually charged someone with first degree murder, then its been determined that there is enough evidence for the charge in the first place. The only reason I can see for them not releasing the evidence is because they don't want someone trying to tear it down before the trial starts. Every other murder situation I have ever seen, that is as big as this one, they always say they have found a body if it has indeed been found. Sitting on it isn't going to just rat out someone at this point. They either have enough evidence for the others they are investigating to be charged, or they don't. This whole thing hasn't made sense from the get go, especially if the guy was a known drug dealer and they didn't investigate him further in the beginning. They are making it seem like a witch hunt to the public right now.

Not sure what I'd enlighten you with. I've said from the beginning I don't know enough about the justice system to know what's going on. I just don't think they'd have thrown out something as serious as a first degree murder charge without something they thought was pretty darn good evidence.

The day they charged him, the grand jury obviously was shown something pretty definitive, or they wouldn't have reached a decision so quickly. The reporters at the court house said they met for less than an hour.

I won't post the info I got because of its graphic nature but the last part of that Adams' quote falls right in-line with everything I was told.

Don't even ask. I'm not posting it.

I wouldn't trust the words of another inmate. But ever since I saw the well, and as quickly as they acted afterwards, this seems plausible.

Adams is toast. He can only save his skin by telling where the body is. That or telling who helped him.

At the very least, it sounds like his brother helped him. That's if that statement is true and it want an inmate making something up.

Perpetuating tainting of the jury pool.

Zach Adams' grandfather says that he saw Holly in their house after she was kidnapped. Could this be what Zach supposedly told his brother to keep his mouth shut about? Any of our locals on here heard this?

Where are you getting this info? That would make him accessory to kidnapping/murder, would it not?

EDIT: From this article (on mobile):

The grandfather stated that Adams' brother saw her inside the home, according to the article.

Dick said that Zach's brother Dylan is the one that saw Holly in their home after she was kidnapped.

So from that it sounds like both the grandfather and the brother knew and neither came forward. Would that make both of them accomplices?

No clue..depends on how long Dick knew about it I guess. I think Dylan kept it under wraps until the TBI went & grilled him that night in prison & he spilled all the beans & that's what led to Zach's arrest.

Dick is a nice guy..well known around the county
