The Holly Bobo Kidnapping

What is taking place in this investigation now that the warrants were served and digging took place?

Are they waiting on Zach Adams to roll over on other people?

It's obvious it's a witch hunt. I'm no longer amused.

Is it possible they found some of her remains but aren't releasing anything to the public until the trial?

Why wouldn't they? If they have evidence & know they have a case then what do they compromise by saying everything they have? It's because they probably have very little.

That, and how about the fact that they just "confirmed" she's dead to the public and the family and don't have a lick of evidence to show for that either?
If it is a witch hunt that's a dumbass and heartless thing to do.

Can't say that, what's her face thinks it sounds stupid.

Just when you say it.

LOL at the two of you. :)

And you know they don't have a lick of evidence how?

The Grand Jury obviously believed there was enough evidence to support probable cause in the case. The DA stated they had evidence that supported her being taken forcefully without her consent and that her murder occurred during the perpetration of the kidnapping. The public will not know the nature of this evidence until it is presented at trial unless some of it is leaked by the defense-typically the DA or police will not do this. There will be pre trial discovery but it is typically a gradual process, e.g. witness list, lab reports, records, police reports, etc. The reason they don't release evidence to the public is that it could compromise the case.

P.S.-I think Adams was one of many initial suspects who were questioned I believe approximately two or three dozen people. In a rural community like that the police would question potential violent offenders within a certain radius of the victim's home. Then they would follow up on any inconsistencies in their statements. I suspect they've had Adams plus a couple of others in their sites for awhile because of these inconsistences. Then some other evidence has been uncovered that made them eliminate all but him. It is a process of elimination. It will be interesting to see what evidence they have at trial. They spent so much time searching his premises because they are trying to find the body and or some other evidence from the victim that many killers keep. If he has killed more than one they will try to find other evidence too.

Or if he didn't do it they will find nothing & everything is circumstantial. Obviously a body hasn't been found. If they had much of anything then some details would be released other than just a charge. It appears they are reaching & grasping at straws.

I should reword that. The terminology used in that press conference tells me more about this situation than anything.

Specifically where he says "we BELIEVE we have enough evidence to charge Adams with murder". They have no smoking gun in other words.

Short of finding Holly alive, it tells me that they do have a series of events, statements, evidence, when put together is a smoking gun in itself.

Yeah you don't need a body to convict someone of murder. They must have some hard evidence to go to trial.

One that comes to mind is the Sam Parker trial in Georgia a few years ago. He went on trial for killing his wife even though her body was not found until after the trial. He's serving life in prison.

No, the details would stay under wraps until they wanted them out because it's still an ongoing investigation.

They didn't pull a first degree murder charge out of their asses like you're insinuating.
