But you don't put people in a box.Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't - while I don't always agree with him, I also haven't put him into a box. I think the people who are screeching loudest about trump, hunter and the DOJ are also the trumpers who probably followed the Qanon thread with keen interest.
Do you think he was being sarcastic when he commented on this? I certainly didn't.
It is clear the US Navy detected the implosion with its Super Secret Sonar Sounders. And they of course understood what that meant.
They chose to not disseminate that information.
And that is all we know.
Remember also that you have the right to remain silent.
Nope. The most logical explanation is they didn’t want to alert the world of their capabilities. Pretty sure this info was originally leaked.
I think we’ve run aground.I also find it unlikely, but not impossible.

I'm not sure why they should have done that much. If the explosion had been something else or they'd been wrong in identifying it as an explosion and the sub was still out there, it could have a) slowed the urgency of the responders, b) resulted in blaming the navy if they ran out of oxygen before being rescued.
Agree we're not obligated to help, but we have the resources and ability that few do. I hate seeing us have to blow money on it, but I understand doing it. I also agree that this was a shoddy operation. I've read about concerns dating back years. And apparently they were driving the dang thing with a $40 video game controller.I don't even see why it falls on the US taxpayer to help out in any case. The company and owner had been warned about the design, the guy acted recklessly, he paid the price. If you are going to do risky things like dive a sub into deep water then it's incumbent on you to have a plan if things go wrong. Apparently the owner didn't even want to be bothered by a real communication system because it disturbed him. An audio/video feed might have answered what happened, or abrupt loss might have indicated catastrophic failure. Why didn't the launch vessel even have it's own sonar or underwater sound monitoring? Shoddy operation, and not our problem; you can't protect people with too much money and too little common sense from themselves.
